Timeshare Warning from a Resident

eConsumer.gov

Today I filled out a complaint against the Velas at eConsumer. It is a government website where you can file a complaint against a foreign company. Their website says: In April of 2001, responding to the challenges of multinational Internet fraud, and working to enhance consumer protection and consumer confidence in e-commerce, 13 countries unveiled econsumer.gov, a joint effort to gather and share cross-border e-commerce complaints. Today, consumer protection agencies in 28 countries participate in this initiative. Mexico is one of the 28 countries listed. Of course, the Mexican counterpart is PROFECO, which in my opinion is pretty much worthless. We'll see. Feel free to file your own complaint and put the Velas on notice.

Video Warning about the timeshare sharks

I add this video of a person who makes frequent trips through the Puerto Vallarta airport. She welcomes everyone to this city of paradise, but has a warning for anyone going there. She talks about the timeshare sharks that feed on anyone they can get their jaws into. These are her words.
